Flag Day Selfie Sunday ~ Oldies Revisited

Its Flag Day, today!
We cannot put our flag up on our porch today, because it is pouring  and windy and even stormy. Last night at meowmy's work there was a tornado warning, even...that was scary, and she had to help get all the residents of the nursing home out of their rooms, into the hallway...her hallway was filled with a mixture of 45 residents in beds, wheelchairs and staff...all they needed then was icecream and cake to have fun in their weather imposed social gathering, MOL! At least God spared them anythuing bad:))

Anyways as you can see, meowmy is working and so she dug up an oldie picture of us to help us catabrate Flag Day.

 Remember: Fly your flag proudly!!

  5. Crikey ...... hope you're all ok in that weather. Happy flag day. I wish we had a flag day. All the flags flying from private homes in the States was one of the things Mum loved when she was over there, many, many years ago.

  14. You too are beautiful cats. Wow. Hey, I live in Michigan too! This morning as I was heading out for a walk with my Bearded Dragon lizard, named Shirley, I heard a noise alongside the road in the corn field. It sounded like a hiss. I looked over and there was a Siamese cat! Our nearest neighbor is quite a ways away. Don't know where it came from or why it was near my place. I tried to find her the the brush was too thick. Lovely cat. Thanks for listening! :)

  16. Those tornado warnings are scary! The Mom used to live in Indiana where they got a bunch of them. We are glad that God spared everyone in the nursing home and that you are all okay.

We love your Flag Day photo! And we thank you for all the purrs and prayers. We really appreciate them!

And you are furry welcome, too. We will keep doing that fur you.

We have far too many false alarms, which makes us far too complacent, this in a way was a 'live practice'.
