Cats: Working for Rats! Hmmm...what will they think of next.

Cats are being worked! And their pay is rats...well, not really, but they are being used is=n a furry old fashioned way...to help Chicago get rid of rats.
Sheesh any barn cat could have told them that years ago and then this wouldn't have evfur gotten to be a problem, MOL!

Have a great week.
If you can spare some time could you purr fur our dog-guy? He has that nasty vestibular trouble again, he stumbles around like he is drunk, can't do stairs too well, and just doesn't feel very good. It will eventually get better, but it takes time and purrs:)

  1. Kitties are good for rodent control.
We even get to chase the odd mouse in the house.
    Those kitties look nice too.
We send BIG purrs for your woofie to feel better.

    1. e think they might have to be really desperate kitties to live that kind of life, on rat patrol. If they have furmilies, maybe they will get vet care as part of the 'payment' and real food, not rats.

MJF thanks you fur the POTP.

  6. I will pray for Mr. Jack Freckles. I agree with Caren, I don't like the idea of cats having to kill rats either, they could get very sick and some rats are pretty darn big.

P.S. if the kitties are getting food and care its better than being out on the street totally alone. those rats are sure mean, though.
