Yesterday we woke up to a blanket of snow. Yes, it was at least 3 inches by offurcial tally, but here at our den there was more like five inches. When meowmy drove herself home from work on Friday evening she could hardly see where she was going, it was whiteout conditions. Yikes!
By Saturday afternoon, the so called spring sunshine had melted a lot of it, and the cleared driveway and sidewalks were bare. So...imagine our surprise when this morning the snow and sleet machines were at it again...and by now, closer to midafternoon, its raining. What a tospy-turvy weather we are having.
Meowmy only hopes that when she has to make a 120 mile round trip on the 12th, that the weather will be more favorable...
And in a few weeks, that the weather will be a lot warmer so that unfurbro-the-younger's graduation, (from grad school), will be pleasant and not plagued by shivering, and cumbersome snowboots or galoshes, MOL!

Side yard, April 9, 2016. Meowmy's van has less snow than pawppy's car, cause she drove home about halfway through the storm...The strong winds blew off a lot of snow from our weeping cherry tree.

These flowers were hoping to show off their pretty blooms, not buried in deep snow.
This is the third time this brave mini daffie has been covered in a snowy blanket.
Dog-guy was not impressed either...
Here are our selfies taken during a brief respite from the dark cloudy weather patterns:
